Changing pharmacy ownership does not absolve the previous owner or the pharmacy of any previous complaints or allegations made against them. The Complaints Committee has the authority to investigate and make decisions based on evidence and facts, regardless of changes in ownership. Legal interventions may be required if the new owner is not cooperating with the investigation or if there is evidence that they were aware of and perpetuated the issues prior to the change in ownership. Thus, the authority of the Complaints Committee cannot be avoided by simply changing ownership.
